STABILITY

Pediococcus pentosaceus HH-PP57 powder were sealed in aluminum foil bag, maintained at -18℃ for 24 months for long-term stability test. The microbial enumeration of Pediococcus pentosaceus HH-PP57 should be performed no more frequently than at the initial, 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24 month time points. According to Fig 1, the potency of Pediococcus pentosaceus HH-PP57 powder was 5.22×1011 CFU/g. After a storage period of 24 months, the potency of the powder was 3.78×1011CFU/g. It means that this strain can remain stable for long time if stored at low temperature.
