Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a bacteria that occurs naturally in the human body, primarily in our intestines. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG has long been used as a probiotic, or "friendly bacteria," to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestines.

Here are some of its common uses:

    1. Helps with intestinal health: Lactobacillus rhamnosus helps balance intestinal flora and supports a healthy digestive system. It can prevent or treat diarrhea caused by infection, antibiotics, or travel.

    2. Helps women's health: LGG can treat bacterial vaginosis and prevent urinary tract infections by restoring healthy vaginal flora.

    3. Regulate the human immune system: LGG can enhance the body's immune response and help fight the risk of infection by promoting the production of antibodies and supporting the body's natural defenses.

    4. Antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD): Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG can reduce the risk of diarrhea during or after antibiotic use by replenishing beneficial bacteria in the intestines.

    5. Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): LGG is thought to help control the symptoms of certain IBD (such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) and IBS cases by promoting intestinal health and reducing inflammation.

   6. Helps prevent allergies and eczema: LGG is sometimes used in infants and children to reduce the risk of eczema and control certain allergic symptoms, including cow's milk protein allergy.
