      WGO seeks to raise awareness of digestive health through its annual public advocacy and awareness campaign, World Digestive Health Day. WGO is pleased to announce that this year's WDHD theme is Your Digestive Health: Make It A Priority. WDHD is celebrated each year on 29th May with associated events, activities, and initiatives continuing throughout and beyond the campaign year.

      According to statistics, more than 10 million people die from gastrointestinal diseases every year in the world, and one-fifth of the population in my country suffers from gastrointestinal diseases, ranking first in the world. The incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer are also on the rise. The "2024 National Cancer Report" released by the National Cancer Center shows that among all cancers, the number of cases of colorectal cancer is second only to lung cancer, reaching 517,100.
